Company Background

Willowstick was formed in June 2004 when Amp Capital Partners, a venture capital firm focused on renewable energy and natural resource projects, acquired a controlling interest of the AquaTrack Division of Sunrise Engineering. The AquaTrack Division of Sunrise Engineering was formed in 2001, when Dr. Jerry Montgomery and Rich Montgomery, the co-founders and inventors of the AquaTrack technology joined Sunrise.

Key members of the Willowstick team include:

• Val Kofoed, P.E. - Chief Operating Officer: 20 years of professional experience with Sunrise Engineering, including service as principal engineer from 1987.
• Paul Rollins - Vice President Business Development:12 years sales, operations, manufacturing and executive management; Responsible for customer, partner and supplier relationships; and lead generation efforts; MBA.
• Jerry Montgomery, Ph.D. - Co-founder/R&D/Senior Geophysicist:Received Ph.D. in Geophysics from the University of Utah. Brings 33 years of professional experience; inventor of the patented AquaTrack technology; developer of the mathematical model and procedures to adjust the data streams from AquaTrack measurements for the purpose of eliminating natural and man-made interference.
• Rich Montgomery - Co-founder/Field Operations:Brings 15 years of professional experience; responsible for evaluating the survey area and determining the appropriate design and layout of the survey grid.
• Rondo Jeffery, Ph.D. - Researcher:Received Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Illinois; 30 years of professional experience teaching at the college level and in research development.
