Mapping Contaminated GroundwaterIf you are a business owner, farmer, or government official charged with municipal planning, you may find it crucial to understand the location of extent of a contaminated groundwater resource. We canhelp you locate the groundwater resource precisely, and discover to what extent the resource exists in the subsurface. When you are able to pinpoint contaminated groundwater, you can select culinary or irrigation well locations with confidence. With AquaTrack you can:
AquaTrack is a patented, magnetic-based groundwater mapping solution that has proven extremely accurate and cost effective in mapping groundwater resources.
Why Choose Us?When you choose Willowstick, you will receive detailed maps that delineate areas of high and low water concentrations as well as the preferential flow paths of the water within the subsurface. Armed with this information you can effectively monitor changes in the groundwater, optimize production well locations, and enhance exploration of new resources.

Smart ExplorationBecause we provide you with a map of the exact location of water, your exploratory efforts become much less complicated and much more reliable. Most geophysical technologies energize the ground and then, through their interpretative processes, estimate the location and extent of groundwater. AquaTrack directly energizes the groundwater of interest and the result is a much more conclusive understanding of where groundwater is and where it is not. How it WorksAquaTrack uses a low voltage, low amperage, audio frequency electrical current to energize the groundwater. Electrodes are placed strategically in wells or other water bearing media near the survey area. Because the groundwater is a conductor, the electrical current follows through the groundwater between the electrodes.

These are referred to as anomalies that represent areas of different physical conditions. The changes in conductivity represent an increase or decrease in the presence of groundwater. In the simplest terms, the AquaTrack technology identifies where groundwater is most present in your area of investigation.
